Hear from our sewing community
I've known Lareen for many years, and I was lucky enough to attend her very first sewing class at the library all those years ago. Her passion for sewing, combined with her knowledge, incredible patience and warm sense of humor, made learning an absolute joy! Now, as she launches this exciting new adventure with her own business, I can confidently say that anyone who joins her classes will have a wonderful time and make some new friends along the way. She creates a welcoming space where everyone feels encouraged, whether you're threading a needle for the first time or brushing up on old skills.

August 2025

I have been going to Lareen’s classes for years, first at Sew Busy then latterly in Fleet Library. I have made tops, dresses & skirts, but I am most proud of two men’s shirts for my husband. Lareen took me through every step of the pattern. I thought the burrito method was magic!! I can’t praise Lareen enough for her teaching, lessons & willingness to help. Nothing is too much trouble! Looking forward to the next stage of her career!

August 2025

I have been working on a project that has involved lots of new firsts for me, including elastic, working with fleece and constructing plackets. I had so much fun making this cosy fleece.  I’m thankful to Lareen Anne Morris for encouraging me to move into dressmaking through her sewing courses.
